New York, NY – June 3, 2015 – CastleOak Securities, L.P., a leading New York-based boutique investment banking firm, today announced the expansion of its Fixed Income sales and trading team with the appointment of Rick Carr as Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Sales and Trading. Reporting directly into David R. Jones, President and Chief Executive Officer of CastleOak Securities, Mr. Carr will be based in New York, and be responsible for building the firm’s fixed income business and team nationally, with a focus on New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Mr. Carr recently served as Managing Director in Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank. Prior to Deutsche Bank, he was Director of Sales in the Americas at BlueBay Asset Management, and Managing Director of Client Development at MKP Capital Management. Prior to this, he was Managing Director at Wachovia Securities, and also held senior positions at Citigroup and Salomon Brothers. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and his B.E.S. from Johns Hopkins University.
