Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. said its equity research analysts Youssef Squali and Naved Khan have been named in the top one percentile of TipRanks’ annual rankings of research analysts on Wall Street.
Squali, global head of Internet and media equity research and Khan, senior vice president, Internet and media equity research were recognized out of a total of 3,697 analysts measured via TipRank’s financial accountability engine and algorithmic analysis to rank the top 25 analysts across each sector. Rankings are based on the accuracy of analysts’ stock calls and earnings estimates for the past year. Squali was ranked number five in the technology sector; Khan was ranked number six in the services sector.
Squali was ranked as the number two analyst across all industries in last year’s TipRanks rankings. He was also ranked in The Wall Street Journal’s Best on the Street 2011, and was awarded the StarMine All-Star Analyst Award in 2009 by The Financial Times.
Khan was ranked as the number four analyst by Bloomberg on travel stocks based on relative stock performance in 2014, and number three in 2013.
