David Reed

Mr. Reed is a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Cantor Fitzgerald. 

Prior to joining Cantor Fitzgerald, Mr. Reed worked at Gleacher & Company as a Managing Director with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.  Before joining Gleacher & Company in 2002, Mr. Reed was a Managing Director / Co-Head of East Coast Mergers & Acquisitions at Robertson Stephens.

Previously, Mr. Reed was a Managing Director and Group Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at PaineWebber.  During his tenure, Mr. Reed’s group completed approximately 300 transactions with an aggregate value of $77 billion.  As Chairman of PaineWebber’s Fairness Opinion Review Committee, Mr. Reed oversaw the preparation and delivery of over 100 fairness opinions. 
 
Mr. Reed received an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. from Princeton University.
