Jonathan Terzi

Jonathan Terzi is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Media & Communications Investment Banking Group at Cantor Fitzgerald.  During his career, Mr. Terzi has been directly involved in over 75 transactions in the media and communications sectors.

Prior to joining Cantor Fitzgerald in June 2010, Jonathan was founder and partner at Metropolitan Capital Partners, a Media Mergers & Acquisitions and private equity advisory firm he founded in 2005.  Prior to Metropolitan, Mr. Terzi was a senior Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co in the Telecom, Media and Technology Investment Banking Group.  At Goldman Sachs, Jonathan specialized in Media and Sports Mergers & Acquisitions, served as an Investment Banking Services client coverage officer, and co-headed the group’s broadcasting sector. 

Throughout his Wall Street career, Jonathan has advised on transactions with clients including CBS, Boston Red Sox, National Football League, Westwood One, Emmis Communications, Granite Broadcasting, Cumulus Media, Tribune, Los Angeles Dodgers, Research in Motion, and WorldCom, among others.

Mr. Terzi received a BA and BS from the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated from The Wharton School with an MBA with distinction.
