Mark Davis

Mark Davis is a Managing Director and Head of Technology Investment Banking for Cantor Fitzgerald.

Mr. Davis has over 20 years of investment banking experience and has been involved in over 100 transactions primarily in the technology sector covering enterprise systems, storage and networking companies.  Mr. Davis’s experience includes all types of investment banking transactions including private and public equity and debt, IPOs and mergers and acquisitions.  Selected clients include Maxtor, Seagate, Western Digital, Brocade Communications, EMC, Flextronics, Sanmina, JNI, HMT technology , US Filter, Compucom, Texas Pacific Group, Platinum Equity and Yucaipa. 

Mr. Davis joined Cantor Fitzgerald in 2010. Previously, he was with Macquarie Capital where he was responsible for the firm’s investment and merchant banking activities in the West Coast.

Prior to Macquarie, Mr. Davis was a Managing Director in Citigroup’s Technology Investment Banking  Group where he was responsible for its coverage of the enterprise systems, storage and supply chain sectors. In addition, he had responsibility for Financial sponsors and industrial coverage on the West Coast.  Mr. Davis started his investment banking career at Paine Webber.

Mr. Davis received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School where he graduated with distinction and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland with a BS in Accounting.  Mr. Davis is also a CPA.
