Stephen P. DesJardins

Stephen DesJardins is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Investment Banking at Cantor Fitzgerald & Co.

Prior to joining CF&CO, Mr. DesJardins was a Managing Member of Ivory Investment Management, L.P., a Los Angeles based alternative asset manager.  While at Ivory, Mr. DesJardins served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Strategy and Development.  During his tenure as COO, Ivory experienced substantial growth with assets under management increasing to in excess of $4 billion.  Mr. DesJardins also represented Ivory on the Board of Managers of joint venture partner FrontPoint Partners LLC.

Prior to Ivory, Mr. DesJardins was a Director in the real estate investment banking group at Credit Suisse First Boston.  Mr. DesJardins also served as a generalist in the investment banking department of Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette prior to its acquisition by Credit Suisse.

Mr. DesJardins began his career in investment banking in 1990, serving in the mergers and acquisitions group at Salomon Brothers Inc and later with Gleacher & Co.  His experience also includes serving as a founding partner of Encore Capital, LLC, a venture capital firm focused on early stage technology investing, as well as positions at principal investment firm Eos Partners, L.P. and with Rockrimmon Securities, LLC, where he served as an equity options trader and market-maker on the American Stock Exchange.

Mr. DesJardins received a BS in Economics, magna cum laude, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
