Cantor Fitzgerald Adds Seasoned Professionals, William Nichols And Salvatore Catrini To Its Growing Equities Group
New York, NY – January 25, 2010 – Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., a leading global financial services provider to the institutional equity and fixed-income markets, today announced that it is further strengthening its Equities Group by adding William Nichols, Head of U.S. Trading and Salvatore Catrini, Managing Director, U.S. Equity Product Manager to its growing equity capital markets team.
Mr. Nichols joins the firm to establish and build Cantor Fitzgerald’s trading business and will be responsible for Trading across the U.S. while Mr. Catrini will develop the firm’s buy-side equities platform.

Mr. Nichols joins Cantor from Pali Capital where he was Managing Director and Head of Trading for the Developing Economies Group. Previously he was with Bear Stearns and Credit Suisse First Boston in similar roles. Mr. Nichols is a 20 year Wall Street veteran with a bachelors degree in Economics from Yale University.
Mr. Catrini previously was a Product Manager at Cowen and Co. where he created “Tech Radar,” an innovative daily report that highlighted tradable news in the technology space. Earlier he was with Bear Stearns where he authored “Early Look at the Market,” which garnered over 10,000 followers. Mr. Catrini holds a Bachelor of Science from Binghamton University and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University.
