Cantor Fitzgerald Adds To Its Global Financial Team

Michael Conry Joins As Global Cantor Fitzgerald Treasurer

New York – (October 11, 2007) – Michael Conry has been named global Cantor Fitzgerald Treasurer.  Mr. Conry joins Cantor from BNP Paribas Securities Corp. where he had been Head of Treasury and Liquidity Management since 2001.  At BNP, Mr. Conry was instrumental in the development of the firm’s cash usage model, as well as the implementation of policy that accurately charged for cash and capital usage.  In addition, he chaired the monthly Asset and Liability Committee Meeting, providing detailed liquidity, balance sheet usage, and counterparty activity to all business heads and territory management.  Prior to that, Mr. Conry was Global Equities Balance Sheet Controller at Lehman Brothers where he was responsible for managing the balance sheet, regulatory, and cash capital movements of the Equities Division.  He also chaired the weekly Equities Balance Sheet and Capital Committee Meeting and was a member of the firm’s Finance Committee.  He reports to Douglas Barnard, Cantor Fitzgerald’s Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Conry is a Graduate of Loras College, Dubuque, Iowa and received a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Fordham University School of Business.
