Cantor Fitzgerald Names Veteran Stephen Kendall As Head of Its European Equities Team
London, UK – October 5, 2010 - Cantor Fitzgerald, a leading global financial services firm, has further strengthened its growing international equity capital markets business, with the appointment of Stephen Kendall, a former Managing Director at Nomura International, as Head of the European Equities team. Mr. Kendall’s appointment reflects the growing demand for broader product and service penetration across asset classes in the European marketplace.

Mr. Kendall served as Managing Director, Head of Equity Strategy Group at Nomura International (formerly Lehman), responsible for the design and implementation of a multi-strategy hedge fund platform. Prior to Nomura, Mr. Kendall was Chief Investment Officer and Founding Partner at Cane Capital Management LLP. He has also served in a number of senior management roles including Managing Director, Head of European Equities at Bank of America Securities and Managing Director, Head of Pan European Equity Trading at BT Alex Brown.
