New York, NY – (May 19, 2008)  Cantor Fitzgerald today announced with pride that three members of its US Equity Research team have been recognized for excellence in their respective sectors in the first annual Financial Times/ StarMine awards.

George Zavoico, PhD, was honored with the #1 spot in the “Top Earnings Estimators by Industry – US” category for his research in the Biotechnology sector.

Natasha Boyden was among the top three analysts in the “Top Earnings Estimators by Industry – US” group for her coverage of the Marine Transportation sector.

Derek Brown was ranked #1 in the “Top Stock Pickers by Industry – US” category in the Internet Software & Services sector.
