Cantor Prime Services Receives Top Rank In Annual Global Custodian Prime Brokerage Survey

Global Custodian recently released its annual Prime Brokerage survey.  In its first year, Cantor Prime Services was well-recognized by its clients and within the industry.  Global Custodian commented “A ratable number of responses was … received from clients of one firm new to the Global Custodian Prime Brokerage Survey: Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., where Noel Kimmel, global head of prime services, is leading a team of former colleagues and other seasoned prime brokerage executives.”

Global Custodian continued: “This is an impressive debut by Cantor, which entered the business in 2009 under the leadership of respected industry veterans. It has since built a client list as good as any mid-market firm.”

In the Capital Introduction and Client Service categories, Cantor Prime Services received the highest overall score in the entire survey (including the majors), and 4 best-in-class awards.  High scores and best-in-class awards were also received in operations, securities lending and start-up consulting.   Client ranking is based on a scale of 1-7, with 7 being the highest score.  Most of Cantor Prime Services’ average weighted scores were in the 6’s.
