Keith Grimaldi Joins Cantor Fitzgerald As Senior Managing Director For CLO And CDO & CLO Trading
New York – April 22, 2009 – Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. announced today that Keith Grimaldi has joined its Debt Capital Markets team as Senior Managing Director of CDO and Structured Products Trading. He will be responsible for building the trading and distribution of all Collateralized Debt Obligations and other structured credit products. This will include identifying secondary trading opportunities for clients, providing liquidity in secondary markets for these products, helping clients value their portfolios, analyzing and helping to repackage securities for holders or potential buyers. Mr. Grimaldi will report to Shawn Matthews, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald & Co.
Mr. Grimaldi was recently Managing Director at UBS Securities and Global Head of the CDO Group, where he was responsible for overseeing the origination and trading of Collateralized Debt Obligations. Prior to joining UBS Mr. Grimaldi was an Executive Director at CIBC where he was in charge of the syndication, trading and distribution of Collateralized Debt Obligations and other esoteric securitized transactions in the public and private placement markets. Mr. Grimaldi earlier was a Vice President at Citicorp where he held various positions including Head Asset-Backed Securities Trader. Mr. Grimaldi holds a MBA from Fordham University.
