Overview

The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund was founded by a $1 million personal donation from Howard W. Lutnick to assist the families of the 658 employees from Cantor Fitzgerald who were lost in the World Trade Center attacks on September 11th.

Building on the lessons learned from caring for the 9/11 families, the Relief Fund expanded its mission to support families that have been deeply impacted by acts of terrorism, natural disasters, and other emergencies, as well as direct service and other charities, and wounded members of our military.

Disaster Relief

In times of crisis, we raise funds from the public and distribute them to charities that are actively working on the ground in affected areas. We also engage in our own disaster relief efforts by collaborating with local public schools and government agencies to ensure families that have been impacted receive the direct financial support they need to repair and rebuild their lives.
