NEW YORK, Feb. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ —Cantor Fitzgerald & Co, a leading financial services firm, today announced the expansion of its Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) sales and trading team with the appointment of Brendan Donnelly and Mohil Gupta as Managing Directors.  Messrs. Donnelly and Gupta, who are joining from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, will focus on strengthening relationships with institutional clients across securitized products.  They will be based in New York and report to John Baldo, Global Head of Fixed Income Sales at Cantor Fitzgerald.

Mr. Donnelly previously served as Vice President of Global Structured Products Sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  Prior to this, he held a number of senior positions at Annaly Capital, JP Morgan, and Bear Stearns.  Earlier, Mr. Donnelly was an officer in the U.S. Army.  Mr. Donnelly holds a B.S. in Management and Engineering from West Point and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Rochester.

Mr. Gupta most recently served as Vice President of Global Structured Products Sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  Before this, he traded and structured on the Agency CMO desk at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  Mr. Gupta holds a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from New York University.
