Cantor Fitzgerald Investors

The allocation of real estate is often a complement to a diversified investment portfolio.

Cantor Fitzgerald Investors was created as an extension of the firm’s broader real estate business to create and manage real estate investment vehicles for individual and institutional investors.

Our business is fully integrated into the Cantor Fitzgerald organization, resulting in a strategic alignment of affiliated firms that represent every phase of a real estate transaction. Access to this vast real estate knowledge provides an information advantage that guides the development of our real estate investment product offerings.

Our current platform includes non-traded REITs, Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs) to support 1031 exchanges, Opportunity Zone programs and other private placements.

Non-Traded REITs

An innovative way for individuals to invest in real estate

Real estate investment trusts (REITs) are a way for individuals to invest in institutional-quality commercial real estate properties that might otherwise be beyond their own purchasing ability.

Cantor Fitzgerald Investors’ non-traded REITs, which we’ve branded Rodin, are designed to give investors access to diversified portfolios of income-producing commercial real estate and commercial real estate loans.

Rodin Global Property Trust, Inc. (Rodin Global), our equity REIT, intends to invest in and manage a diversified portfolio of income-producing, net-lease commercial properties located in the United States and select European countries. The REIT’s focus on long-term leases, high-quality tenants and operationally significant properties, offers greater potential for attractive risk-adjusted returns. Learn more

Rodin Income Trust, Inc. (Rodin Income Trust), our debt REIT, capitalizes on the strength of the real estate market and the current demand for debt to deliver opportunity to investors. This REIT intends to originate and invest in a diversified portfolio of commercial real estate loans, senior mortgage debt and subordinated debt, secured by properties within and outside the United States.  Learn more

1031 Exchanges and Delaware Statutory Trust

A tax-advantaged vehicle used to sell existing real estate holdings

A 1031 exchange is a vehicle used to defer capital gains taxes when selling existing real estate holdings.

One way to conduct a 1031 exchange is with a Delaware Statutory Trust (DST), recognized by the IRS as qualified replacement property for the transaction. DSTs provide turnkey solutions to complete exchanges for investors who may not have the time, energy or the real estate expertise to find and/or manage a replacement property.

Cantor Fitzgerald offers a collection of single-tenant and multifamily DSTs comprised of institutional-quality properties for those seeking a passive solution to satisfying their 1031 exchange.

Qualified Opportunity Funds

A new investment approach with substantial tax incentives

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act created the Opportunity Zone Program on December 22, 2017 to encourage long-term investments in targeted communities known as Opportunity Zones (OZ). Investment vehicles called Qualified Opportunity Funds (QOF) place at least 90% of the fund’s capital in property within OZs. Through a QOF, investors can defer and reduce their existing capital gains tax liability from a sale of a prior investment (stocks, bonds, real estate, business, art, etc.) while also eliminating future capital gains tax on returns earned from the QOF.

Other Private Placements

An opportunity to invest directly in privately held real estate

Private placements allow accredited investors to participate in real estate investments not available to most investors. Each deal offers a different risk-return profile and varies in nature between Core, Value-add and Opportunistic commercial real estate investment strategies. Some strategies may include significant tax benefits.
